She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Shiver and Lavert Hatcher Shiver; and her husband Levon Barfield. She is survived by: her daughter Gina; her son-in-law Paul Gibson; her sons, Greg (Gail Barfield) and Glen (Carolyn Barfield); and her siblings, John Shiver and Pat Walker. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
