He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Otwell and Minnie Stanford Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Janice Adams Brooks of Flowery Branch; his children, JoAnn (Gary Presgraves), Wendy (Gary Dunn), James Brooks of Senoia, GA and Doug; his daughter-in-law Barbara Witherow of Cherokee, NC; his sisters, Carolyn (Bill Miller) and Rebecca (Alec Bailey); and his grandchildren, Amanda Presgraves, Jon Presgraves, Ethan Presgraves, Evan Presgraves, Billy Dunn, Jarad Dunn, Bailey Dunn, Jemma Brooks, Brandon, Christy Witherow, Dustin and Shea Ledford. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
