He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Woody; his son Alan Todd Parish; his parents, Charles E. Parish and Bertha Salyer Parish; his siblings, Jim Parish, Elmo Parish, Ann Whalen, Dorothy Johnston and Charlene Vickers; his wife Mildred Ann Parish; his children, Sherra Knowles (Tony) and Scott Parish; his grandchildren, Matthew Knowles, Kirby Knowles (Claudia), Amanda Brown (Brandon), Austin Parish and Ayden Parish; and his great grandchildren, Gemma Claire Brown and Isla Kate Brown. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Rev. Parish to Talmo Baptist Church or the "Pruitt Cares Foundation.".
