He is survived by: his wife Sarah Smith Scott of Flowery Branch; his daughter Jennifer Dye (Anthony); his granddaughters, Ann Marie Dye of Gainesville and Emmaline Dye of Gainesville; his sons, Timothy Otting (Vickie) of Lula and Michael Otting of Flowery Branch; his grandchildren, Matthew, Ethan, Kaitlin, Alex, Breanna, Andrew and Kaden; his great grandchildren, Graceyn, Lucas and Sarah; his brother Mack; his sister-in-law Jackie Scott; his niece Ginger; his great-nephews, Brandon and Denver; his close friends, Kristy Jones and Kim Davis; his pet Maggie; and also, Hess, Caleigh and Houston.
