He is survived by: his wife Susan Gaskins of Flowery Branch, GA; his children, Casey Alan Gaskins (Berit) of Germany and Daniel James Gaskins of Flowery Branch, GA; his grandchildren, Constantin Gaskins and Nikolas Gaskins; and his siblings, Sandra Wentz (Doug) of Melbourne, FL, Steve Gaskins (Linda) of Gainesville, FL, Richard Gaskins (Shelly) and John Brian Gaskins of Chattanooga, TN..

“So sorry for y'all's lose! "Capt" Gaskins, reenlisted me at MCCES. Later we were at MACS-7. Having an issue with some civilians in town, (I think then) "Maj" Gaskins, overheard me talking to fellow Sgts in the "Ready Room". With the upmost respect; "Tim" offered up his "Guns". YES, his massive biceps! I expected my fellow Sgt's too! Enlisted knew we could always count on Marine Office Gaskins! As long as you were on the "right side" of the issue!
