It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland T. Scales of Flowery Branch, Georgia, born in Lula, Georgia, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Billy and Martha Bowen Scales. He is survived by: his wife Joan Bailey Scales of Flowery Branch, GA; his children, Johnny Scales of Decatur, GA, Laurie Scales of Lula, GA, Lisa Scales Robbins of Buford, GA and Donny Scales (Marisol) of Winder, GA; his grandchildren, Joshua Robbins, Sarah Fic, Truett Scales (Kristen), Mario, Isabella, Alex and Louis Scales; and his great grandchild Wyatt Scales. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
