It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Harrell Hamilton (Flowery Branch, Georgia), born in Prescott, Arkansas, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Stanfield Hamilton and Opal Harrell Hamilton; and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Howard Hamilton (Cathie), Mark Hamilton (Leslie), Mary Tasker (Eric Michener), Kelly Freeman and Jamie Clark; his grandchildren, Ryan Hamilton, Daniel Tasker (Melisa), David Tasker, Katherine, Elizabeth, Anna and Jack Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Cooper and Lucy Lorraine Tasker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (6439 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia.
