He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Clara Hunter; his children, Doris Marie Hunter and John Hunter; and his brothers, William Hunter and Jack Hunter.
He is survived by: his aunts, Doris and Dori; his uncle John; his great-niece Syd Genevieve; his children, Patricia L Gibbon (David Gibbon), James R Hunter and Robert J Hunter (Susan Hunter); his sister Dorothy Miller; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Hunter. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 11 great- great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Hospice Care Network.
