He was predeceased by: his wife Maren "Marnie" Dupree Braswell; his parents, Edwin Braswell and Carrie B. Braswell; and his siblings, Virginia Eggers, Sonny Dale Braswell, Edwin F. Braswell and Lauren Thomas Braswell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey Yancey of Flowery Branch and Heather Alexander (James) of Columbia, SC; his granddaughters, Sydney Yancey, Grace Yancey and Ashleigh Alexander; and his sisters-in-law, Eloise Braswell of Blue Ridge, GA and Vickie Braswell of Woodstock, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors in memory of Richard "Rick" Braswell.
