He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Clarence Dale and Amanda Ward Dale; his son Charles "Chuck" Richard Dale; and his siblings, E. C. Dale, Jr., Katherine Dale Hamilton, A. J. Dale and Willie Fern Dale Cagle.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Maurice "Reecie" Presley Dale; his children, Craig Darryl Dale, Ashely Dale Ortiz, Cameron Charles Dale, Caleb Ryan Dale, Caissen Richard Dale, Presley Grace Dale, Maggie Kate Dale, Chloe Reece Dale and Charlie Maxwell Dale; his great grandchildren, Peyton Ortiz, Amanda Ortiz and Preston Ortiz; and his sister-in-law Elaine Presley Greene. He is also survived by his daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
