She was predeceased by: her son Mark Speed; her parents, Robert Rowell and Nadine Rowell; and her brothers, John Rowell, Larry Rowell and Mike Rowell.

She is survived by: her brother Robert Rowell; her sons, Brian (Marla Osburn Speed) and Keith (Lynne Shomake Speed); and her grandchildren, Jessica Thrasher (Kyle), Kali Arcega (Josh), Shea Speed (Brittny), Leah Speed, Kacie Waters (John), Ryan Speed (Sarah) and Anna Chelena (Jonathan). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Vincent de Paul Society Georgia.
