It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred J. Burkins (Flowery Branch, Georgia), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on July 25, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Burkins Sr.; her son Paul Burkins Jr; and her sister Frances Halliday. She is survived by: her children, Larry Burkins (Rosemary), James Burkins (Tammy), Kathleen Hogge (Bill) and Patricia Lopez (Al); her grandchildren, Bryan, Joe, Jeff, Paul, James, Amy, Jessica, Sarah and Stephanie; and her great grandchildren, Alexus, Logan and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Dr., Wilmington, DE 19804.
