Michael Shawn Stancliff Obituary
Michael Shawn Stancliff, 44, of Flowery Branch passed away peacefully Monday, August 16th 2021 at Northside Forsyth hospital surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Memorial Park South Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Shawn was born July 17th 1977 at Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs, Ga. Shawn was strong in his faith, and leaned heavily on that faith throughout his life. Shawn had a loving and free spirit that could be felt with anyone that came in contact with him. Shawn was in the electrical business for many years and was a master at his craft. Shawn enjoyed being around family and friends and watching his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. Shawn was a college football fan but lived and breathed Georgia football. His family finds comfort knowing he has gone home to live with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Shawn is survived by his loving parents Debbie and Raymond Stancliff of Flowery Branch, Ga; Mike and Joanne Dinsmore of Cumming, GA; Brother Devin and Michelle Stancliff of Braselton, Ga; Sister Amy and Don Bell of Buford, Ga; Grandmother Glenda Glisson of Flowery Branch, Ga; Grandparents, John and Elloise Marbury of Buford, Ga; uncle and aunt, Larry and Sandra Greenway of Blairsville, Ga; uncle and aunt, Billy and Susan Stancliff of Lawrenceville, Ga; uncle and aunt, Ronald and Carrie Glisson of Boggstown, In.; uncle and aunt, Rick and Sherry Dinsmore of Woodstock; aunt Vicky Moss of Cumming, uncle and aunt, Marcus and Pat Dove of Roswell, Ga; aunt Thelma Howard; nieces and nephews, Peyton and Greyson Stancliff, Allyson, Brandon, Emily, and Anna Grace Bell; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Larry "Jad" Glisson; grandparents, William "Pawpaw" and Mae "Memaw" Stancliff; great grandparents, J.C "Papa" and Jimmy "Nanny" Glisson; and great grandparents, Paul "Grandpa" and Eula "Grandma" Greenway.
