She was predeceased by: her parents, U. C. Hale and Annie C. Hale; her granddaughter Abbey Elizabeth Kilgore; and her sister Mabel Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Horace J. Kilgore, Sr.; her children, Howard Kilgore, Harold Kilgore (Sharon), Mary Ann McDonald (Scott) and Horace Kilgore, Jr. (Alison); and her sister Marie Clark (Nathaniel). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and spouses; and seven great grandchildren.
