She was predeceased by: her sons, Donald "Zach" Hurd and Philip D. Hurd. She is survived by: her daughter Susan Hurd Massey (Michael Massey) of Flowery Brach, GA; her grandchildren, Justin Hurd, Denise, Bill Franklin, Kelly, Lee Cowart, Kimberly and Rusty Martin; and her sister Lois Gaither of Franklin, GA. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren.
