He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Tanner and Elsie Mackey Tanner; his wife Sue Allison Tanner; and his siblings, Elna Jean Patterson, Gladys Epps and Wilburn Tanner.
He is survived by: his son Larry; his daughter-in-law Malinda Tanner of Lawrenceville; his daughter Kathy; his son-in-law Tony McDaniel of Dacula; his son Calvin Tanner of Flowery Branch; his sister Carolyn Simmons of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Kaylie, Cody Papp, Megan Tanner, Allison Tanner, Colton Tanner and Austin Tanner. He is also survived by family members and friends.
