He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Cornick and Norma Cornick. He is survived by: his wife Rita Cornick of Flowery Branch; and his children, Mike Cornick (Jodie) of Geneva, James Joseph Cornick, Jr. of Ohio, Karen Fromknecht (Jack) of Hoschton, Chris Maechtle (Jim) of Geneva, Kim Carlson (Steve) of Gainesville, Kelli Gray (Tom) of Batavia and Cheryl Barnett of Ohio. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
