She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Pappas and Rosalie Pappas; her husband Alvin Treu; and her sister Faith Brend. She is survived by: her son Dr. Kurt; her daughter-in-law Karen Treu of Braselton; her daughter Pam; and her son-in-law Tony Sherman. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
