It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Buffington of Flowery Branch, Georgia, born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on November 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Evans and Clara Bell Childers Evans; her husband E. A. Buffington; and her daughter Sharon Ballard. She is survived by: her sisters, Aline Grizzle and Bertie Mae Evans; her daughter Carolyn; her son-in-law Roger Cothran of Gainesville; her daughters, Barbara B. Teague of Gainesville and Lisa Renee Buffington of Flowery Branch; her grandchildren, Michelle Ballard, Kevin Ballard, Shauna Jarrard, Amber Pressley, Kaitlin Peck and Angel Cothran; and her great grandchildren, Sara Porterfield, Makayla Porterfield, Brayden Pressley, Lexi Jarrard, Braely Jarrard and Ari Belle Cothran. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
