He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smith and Eunice Smith; and his brother Billy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith; his children, Liz Smith of Tamarac, FL, Rick Smith (Jen) of Weston, FL, Toni Manuel of Pensacola, FL, Wiley Forrester (Michelle), Jimmy Forrester (Christie) and Derek Forrester (Tammy); his nephew Lee Smith (Bobbie); his sisters-in-law, Brenda Reynolds (Billy), Sheila Duncan (Jerry) and Glenda Duncan (Mike); his grandchildren, Phillip Forrester, Jimmy S. Forrester, Kaylynn McConnell, Allison Forrester, Chelsea Vincent (Brandon), Bobby Simpson, Austin Simpson (Carson), Joseph Manuel, Wesley Manuel, DJ Forrester, Dylan Forrester, Devin Forrester, Ashley Vonville and Aaron Vonville; his great grandchild Magnolia Vincent; his cousins, Christie Pluma Jacksonville and Lamar; and his close friends, Ricky Williams, Eddie Jarrod, Michael Evens, Dwayne Cole and Tom Elder. He is also survived by Several other cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
