He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Meitz of Flowery Branch, Georgia; his sisters, Elfride Bruns of Wolverhampton and Herta Shubitz of Hohenems, Austria; his stepsister Inge Schwarzl of Windisch-Minihof, Austria; and his nephews, Peter Wohlleben of Surrey, British Columbia, Andreas Shubitz of Vienna and Gerd Shubitz.
