She was predeceased by: her sons, Phillip Eugene Moon and Arthur Eugene Moon; her parents, Claude Cheek and Annie Cheek; and her brother Charles F. Cheek, Sr. (Moon).
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Stephens (Mark) and Michael Bruce Moon of Blairsville, GA; and her grandchildren, Heather Zuercher (Jared) of Bogart, GA, Brian Stephens (Kaley) of Perry, GA, Paul Stephens (Ashley) of Clayton, GA and Tyler Moon (Ashlyn) of Jefferson, GA. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
