He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Mele. He is survived by: his daughter Anslee Jackson of Atlanta; his granddaughters, Amelia Jackson and Eloise Jackson; and his siblings, Douglas Mele of Flowery Branch, James Mele of Jefferson, Linda Bender of Flowery Branch and Naomi Dochychi (Thomas) of New Jersey. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
