With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Edward Simpson of Flowery Branch, Georgia, born in Drew, Mississippi, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallee Simpson and Daniel Simpson; and his siblings, W. S. Simpson, Lucille Johnson, Gertrude Zepernick, Janelle Forte, Flo Thompson and Elyse Weber.

He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Debbie and Lisa (Robert); his grandchildren, Nicole Pearce (Justin), Dallas Lee (Rachel) and Dillon Lee (Bentley); and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Parker Pearce, Boden and Elizabeth Rose Lee.
