It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Mahaffey of Flowery Branch, Georgia, born in Buford, Georgia, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mahaffey and Shirley Knight Mahaffey. He is survived by: his children, Andy (Savannah Mahaffey), Brandon (Emanuela Mahaffey), Blake (Nic Mahaffey), Megan Mahaffey and Jacob (Ansley Mahaffey); his grandchildren, Chloe, Kayleigh, Karter and Lennon; his nieces, Tracy Gilreth (Branson) of Gainesville, GA and Tabatha Jaime (Joey); his nephew Matthew Bailey (Amber) of Barnesville, GA; his sister Debbie Bailey (Larry) of Flowery Branch, GA; and his aunts and uncles, Johnny, Judy Knight of Commerce, GA, Larry Knight (Dennier), Rachel Knight, Ruby Mahaffey of Auburn, GA, Sandra Knight of Gainesville, GA and Wayne Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to help with expenses in memory of Claude Mahaffey.
