He is survived by: his daughter Carol Simpson of Flowery Branch; his close friend Nancy Howington; his son Chancey Howington of Braselton; his grandchildren, Eddie, Shannon, Stacie, Tanya, Britney Simpson of Flowery Branch, Alex Benefield of Winder, Sarah Benefield of Winder and Channing Howington of Braselton; his children, Knox Howington of Braselton and Wyatt Howington of Braselton; his pet Outlaw; and his brother Edgar Benefield (Virginia) of Flowery Branch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
