He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Neff and Clarence Banks; his sons, Jimmy Banks and Daniel Banks; his grandson Greg Banks; and his sister Jan Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Taylor Banks of Flowery Branch; his children, Laurie Banks Thomas (Jamey) of Buford, Ed Banks (Kim) of Flowery Branch and Jeff Banks (Andrea) of Dawsonville; and his sister Clarice Breedlove (Richard) of Buford. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel (3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
