He was predeceased by: his brother Clarence Fritz. He is survived by: his wife Sally Howell; his children, Judi Bennett and Mark Vehar; his grandchildren, Nick Fisher and Lauren Fisher; his great grandchildren, Micha King and Charlie King; and his sister-in-law Julie Fritz.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Al's memory.
