He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter Phillips and Emily Earnestine Mitchell Phillips; and his son Walter Wayne Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Toni DeKiere-Phillips; his children, Sabrina Pippins (Rob) and Jon DeKiere; his grandsons, Luke Pippins and Corbin DeKiere; and his brothers, Glynn Phillips (Beth) and Steve Phillips.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flovilla Schoolhouse (106 Collier St, Flovilla, GA 30216).
