He was predeceased by: his grandson Thomas Saxton; and his great grandchild Julian Saxton. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jolie Knight, James Saxton and Jamie Saxton; and also, Barbara Knight Saxton, Jerry Saxton, Jr. and Dawn Saxton Knight. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home (736 S Central Ave, Hapeville, GA 30354). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
