He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Edgar and Gracie Pitts Royal; his daughter Teresa Diane Royal (Susan) of New Salem, GA; and his sister-in-law Cathy England. He is survived by: his wife Diane Morris Royal of Flintstone, GA; his son Todd Royal of Flintstone, GA; his sister Charlene Born (Lonnie Royal) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Lance Royal (Sara), Blake Royal (Ashley), Scott Royal, Clint Royal and Carlie Royal; and his great grandchildren, Kate, Nora and Ada Jane Royal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
