He was predeceased by: his mother Otsie Shannon Pitman; his stepfather L. H. "Junior" Pitman; his father Verdman Burrell; his grandmother Maggie Burrell; and his nephew Mike Burrell.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Coraline Leigh Praino; his wife Betty Cobble Burrell; his sons, Barry Lee Burrell (Jennifer Armstrong Stone) of Jupiter, FL and Dale Burrell of Chattanooga, TN; his granddaughter Casey Leigh Burrell (Cory Praino); his great grandchildren, Lily and Zoey; his brothers, William Burrell (Brenda), Ben Pitman (Cheryl) and Joe Pitman; his nieces, Tammy Tracy, Dana Derryberry (Todd), Nicole Pitman and Ashley West; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Lucas, Ray and Chloe; and also, Emily McDaniel (Ben), Hailey, Brandon (Heidi), Elizabeth and Briley.
Masks are preferred when entering the church sanctuary, but not mandatory; a satellite room will be provided for those who wish to wear masks.
