She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Helen Marie Adams Wade; her husband Harvey James Smith, Sr.; her son Harvey James Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, E. K. Wade, Mackey Wade, Tommy Wade, Mary Ruth Brown and Patsy Rose.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Smith; and also Scott Redpath. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many great- grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
