She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Earl Morton and Lillie Morton; her husband John Harold Prescott, Sr.; and her siblings, Kenneth Earl Morton, Jr., Doris M. Courtney and Barbara M. Mattox.
She is survived by: her children, John Harold Prescott (Bonnie), Karen Miller and Valarie Adams; her brothers, Richard W. Morton and H. Lewis Morton; her grandson John L. Miller (Whitney); and her great grandchildren, Oliver Miller, Finn Miller, Archer Miller and Noah Miller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742).
