She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony "Yank" and Mamie Caldwell Bradford; her son Frank Parker Nelson, Jr.; and her siblings, Margaret Cantrell, John and Charles Bradford.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Parker Nelson, Sr.; her son Gary "Bub" Nelson (Carol) of Flintstone, GA; her granddaughters, Summer Stephens (Jeremy) of Chickamauga, GA and Tiffany Dowden (Chris) of Ringgold, GA; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Presley, Jackson Dowden of Ringgold, GA, Hunter, Easton, Stephens of Chickamauga, GA, Robert Griffitts, Sr. (Wanda) of Flintstone, GA and Sheila Cagle of Flintstone, GA; and her siblings, Martha Wilkerson (Russell) of Fackler, AL, Mary Thomas of Stevenson, AL and Mike Bradford (Beverly) of South Pittsburgh, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
