He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Babb, and Robert Babb, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Cameron, Wayne Babb and Bob Babb, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Babb; and his children, Shawn Dowell Babb (Jenny), Faith Shannon Vann (Shay), Timothy Dowell Babb (Kay) and Christopher Dowell Babb (Kristin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741).
