She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Brown and Estelle Brown; and her brother DeWayne Brown. She is survived by: her husband George Curtis Jr.; her daughter Vickie Middlebrooks (Harlan); her siblings, Rev. Kenneth Brown and Diane Hulgin; and her grandchildren, Rodney Adams (Ashley) and Lisa Crawford (Craig). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
