He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hobbs and Dewey Hobbs of Cedartown, GA.; his wife Mintie Barton Hobbs; and his sister Betty Sutton. He is survived by: his children, Grant Hobbs (Debbie) of Chickamauga, GA and Darcy Hobbs Hayes (Ronny) of Ringgold, GA; and his grandsons, Tyler Hayes of Tampa, FL and Jordan Hayes (Natalie) of Brooksville, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of America or Hospice of Chattanooga.
