He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Parker; his grandson Allen Venable; his siblings, Ruby Dodson, Bud Parker and John Parker; his stepchildren, Calvin Templeton and Janice Bowman (Jim); and his nephew John Lee Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Carl Parker (Dana), Valeria Parker (Judy Johnson) and Pamela Venable (Robert); his stepdaughters, Pamela Palmer (Larry), Sheila Templeton and Terry Morrison; and his grandson Matthew Venable. He is also survived by several step grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
