He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Miller, Sr. and Winnie Mae Manning Miller; and his brother William Lafayette "W. L.". He is survived by: his wife Joyce Charlene Howard Miller; his stepson Eddie Craig (Myrtis); his niece Hazel Brown (Tony); his brothers, Glenn Miller and Hershel "Junior" Miller; his niece Michele Lynn Miller; and his nephews, Bill Miller and Eddie Miller.
