She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Myrtle Lee Britt; her husband Rev. Charles Edward Dixon; and her sister Lucille Britt Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Kitty Hays (Kenny) of Flintstone, GA and Cathy Paul (Tim) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Tyson Hays (Faerlie), Ashlee Woods (Chris), Will Hays and Kirby Deal (Haven); her great grandchildren, Daisy Kizer and Blair Charles Woods; and her nephew Scott Davis (Angie).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
