He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Long, Sr. and Lois Moore Long of Flintstone, Georgia.; his wife Janice Lucas Long (Sapp); and his sister Helen Smith. He is survived by: his brother Phil Gass (Connie) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his children, Charles H. Long, III (Tina) of Savannah, Todd Long of Savannah, Dawn Estrada of Blackshear, Cyndi Wellington (Kevin) of Hoboken and Becky Fussell of Waycross; his grandchildren, Tina Rinker, Jennifer Ragusa (David), Sarah Hughes (Justin), Michelle Long, Gabriella Long, Amber Estrada, Brittney Estrada, Jarred Wellington, Dustin Wellington, Blythe Wellington, Preston Beverley (Bethany) and Crystal Beverley; his great grandchildren, Gracie West, Tyler West, Noah Hughes, Mason Long, Eva Raymond and Alden Beverley; his grandson Bobby Rush; and his nephew Patrick Young (Deeroy).
