It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Hixon Sr. of Flintstone, Georgia, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill Hixon Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clifford Hixon and Edith Hixon Kennemore; his wife Jeanne; and his siblings, Frank Hixon, Helen Smith, Gladys Fowler and Fran Stoner.
He is survived by: his children, William Parks Hixon Jr. (Kathy Broussard) of Rock Spring, Kathy McMurtrie (George) of Flintstone and Kim Eidson (Jeff) of Ringgold; his brother Tommy Hixon (Delta) of Milton, FL; and his grandchildren, Melissa McMurtrie (Keith Vaughn) and Patrick McMurtrie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Elmo Church of Christ.
