He was predeceased by: his wife Polly Shuman; his parents, Lawton Shuman and Mary Shuman; and his sister Darlene Shuman. He is survived by: his children, Jason Shuman, Byron Shuman of Fleming, Joshua Shuman (Kaitlin) of Guyton and Rachel Shuman (Jade Kirkland) of Guyton; his siblings, Barbara Smith (Gary) of Riceboro, Darnell Shuman (Shree) of Fleming, Charlene Phillips (Tommy) of Richmond Hill, Lynn Shuman (Joye) of Baxley and Andy Shuman (Cindy) of Brunswick; and his grandchildren, Payton, Brayden, Chayse, Westlyn, Brysen, Heath and Raegan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
