With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVonne Jones of Fleming, Georgia, born in Morris, Minnesota, who passed away on June 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Jones; her parents, Howard Claassen and Marie Claassen; and her sister Darlene Koling. She is survived by: her children, Dean Amelsberg (Susan), Rebecca Fortner (Walter), RaeLa Turner (J. T.), Howard Amelsberg (Helen) and Gene Amelsberg (Julie); and her siblings, Johnny Claassen and Anna Fleisfresser. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; and eight great-great- grandchildren.
