He was predeceased by: his wife Carrol Johnson Wilson; his father John W. Wilson, Sr.; and his grandson Tyler Wilson. He is survived by: his children, John Wilson III and Danielle L. Wells (Bo); his stepson Ryan Oglesby; his grandchildren, Hailey Wilson, Kaleb B. Wells, Aaliyah D. Wells and Dalton Mussen; his mother Carolyn Kelehear; and his sisters, Diane Wilson and Cheryl Wilson Webb. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
