He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Oakland Haymans of Fleming, GA; and his son Edward "Eddie" Lenox Haymans, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Susie" Braswell Haymans; his daughter Cathy Haymans Wolters (Jeffery) of Ellijay, GA; his stepchildren, Brynn Grant Feathers (Tim) of Savannah, GA, Jeff Grant and Matthew Grant; his grandchildren, Caila Perry Hart (James), Sydney Victoria Perry, Taylor Dawn Wolters and Edward "Trey" Lenox Haymans III (Heather); and his great grandchildren, Emily and Brayden.
