She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodfin Henry Wright and Georgia Lessie Brown Wright; her husband Robert Jefferson Day; her son Robert Eugene Day; and her grandson Jason Day.
She is survived by: her children, James Ladon (Janice Day), Jerry Lanier (Linda Day) and Deborah Lynn Hester of Irwin County; and her sister Ruby McCurdy of Waterloo. She is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
