He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen Nichols Vickers; his siblings, Kenneth Vickers, Faye Vickers and Joyce Vickers Jones; and his son-in-law Fred Evans.

He is survived by: his daughters, Selena Jane Evans of Panama City and Mary Celeste Coleman of Eastman; his grandchildren, Troy Evans, Jeremy, Alison Evans, Kyle, Holly Evans, Hannah, Will Morgan and Joshua Coleman; his great grandchildren, Justin Evans, Ivy Jane Evans, Lawson Evans, Kinslea Rose Evans, Anniston Mary Morgan and Nora Michael Morgan; and his sister Patsy Spradlin of Irwinville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sisters.
