He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Watson Nelms. He is survived by: his father Jack Nelms; his wife Louise MacDonald Nelms; his brothers, Danny (Connie Nelms) of Fitzgerald and Gary (Dena Nelms) of Ocilla; and his nieces and nephews, Lori Nelms Swanson, Amanda Nelms Steverson, Brad, Kayla, Will Nash, Garrett and Amanda Nelms.
